MANY women, especially those with long locks, shy away from washing their hair – it can take a lot of time and effort.
But it’s a chore because after all, we don’t want to walk around with smelly, greasy hair, do we?
One woman, Charlene, who posts on TikTok under the username @charleeene27, has revealed that she has “thin hair” and trains her hair to become less greasy by not washing it regularly.
As a result, she will refrain from washing her tresses for a week, much to the disgust of many social media users.
Charlene took to the video sharing platform to show off her hair care routine.
She posted her clip with the caption, “fried to boiled egg,” as she said, “This is what my hair looks like on day six – so roots already oiled and greasy, plus some dry tips.
“I start by spritzing my hair with the Olaplex Intensive Hair Restoration Treatment onto already combed through hair.
“Next I coat my hair with Olaplex number three, Hair Perfector – this is a bond builder to repair and strengthen the hair.
“Next, I take the Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum and focus it on my roots.
“I’ve been using this product twice a week for three months and I’ve really noticed a difference, especially with the baby hairs at the front of my hairline.
“I massage the products into the scalp with my shampoo hairbrush – it feels so good but also helps stimulate new hair growth.
“At this point, my hair is soaked in the product, so the only way to look halfway presentable is to slick my hair back with a straightening hairbrush.

While many TikTok users appreciated Charlene’s hair tutorial, many were disgusted that she hadn’t washed her hair in a week.
One person said: “Why on earth would anyone with hair like that leave the house? Man 😳 just wash it”.
Another added: “Girls just wash it at this point”.
A third commented: “It’s ok to wash your hair”.
