A NAUGHTY motorist turned the tables after a “hypocrite” police officer was pulled over.

Theo Glibo was pulled over at a petrol station in Largs Bay, Australia for putting a blue light on the front of his motorcycle.

But in a series of now viral TikTok videos, the 24-year-old tried to talk his way out of a ticket by suggesting the police squad car had a problem with his right tyre.

In one of the clips, he can be heard saying, “I break down and this cop has a flat tire and he’s not even going to break down his own car.”

The officer replied, “I will not put a sticker on something that will be done tomorrow.”

But the driver was not satisfied with the police officer’s apology and asked, “Why not?

“You do that to mine, you’re a hypocrite.”

In another clip, Theo questioned the police officer again.

He said, “If that was someone else’s tire, you’d blow it out. Where’s the wear strip on it?”

The officer relented and agreed with the motorcyclist, saying the tire would be treated.

He said, “You’re absolutely right, so I’m going to cancel this when I get back to my office.”

South Australia Police have confirmed the police car’s flat tire was “addressed” after the videos garnered 1.5 million and 1.6 million views respectively, new.com.au reports.

A spokesman said: “South Australia Police are aware of the social media post relating to an interaction between a SAPOL worker and a member of the public where the police vehicle was found to have a bald tyre. “

“SAPOL has taken steps to address this matter.”

Only emergency vehicles are allowed to have blue lights in Australia – but Theo claimed one was already on the bike when he bought it.

He asked if he could just buy duct tape to cover it up, but was told it wasn’t allowed.

In another TikTok clip, he said the defect cost him £36.
