CHELSEA have been dealt another injury damage deal after Trevor Chabolah was injured against Liverpool.
The defender went down in the Blues’ penalty area in the 79th minute of the Premier League game at Anfield.
Chalobah required physical therapy for an apparent muscle injury.
After assessments, it was decided that he could not continue the game.
Manager Graham Potter replaced him with veteran Cesar Azplicueta, but Chabolah received a yellow card from the referee as a parting gift.
The 23-year-old walked off with the physio but not at the nearest point where he went down.
Potter will curse his luck after the defender’s injury as he becomes the 11th player to use the treatment room at Stamford Bridge.
Stars including N’Golo Kante, Raheem Sterling, Denis Zakaria, Ben Chilwell, Reece James and Wesley Fofana are all injured.
Chelsea have also injured Armando Broja, Christian Pulisic and Eduoard Mendy.
One of those missing is Joao Felix who, while not injured, is suspended until February.

The match against Liverpool ended in a draw as both sides failed to get their seasons back on track.
The game ended goalless, so at least Potter didn’t see his defense collapse after Chabolah was injured.
