George, 61, pleaded not guilty to the assault but was sentenced to 15 months in prison after being convicted of assault and false imprisonment.

Now Chloe – who starred in 2015’s Celebrity Big Brother – has criticized ITV for including him in this year’s cast ahead of the show’s launch tonight.

In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote: “Think it’s crazy how I’m a celebrity beating up Boy George after he assaulted and mistakenly jailed a man!

“People have been kicked off the show for tweets they made decades before #hypocrisy at its finest.”

George has always denied a court claim that he hit Audun with a chain while the former escort fled in his boxers.

He ended up spending four months in prison, where he says he was the victim of homophobic attacks, but Audun has little sympathy.

Audun said: “I still see the monster he is every time I see him. He hasn’t changed. I won’t be watching I’m A Celeb and I love this show. I could watch him at a bushtucker trial.

“But I will not vote for him, I will not participate. Being in there is too easy for him.

“When things get scary, he can say, ‘I’m a star… Get me out of here.’ I couldn’t do that while I was chained to his wall.”
