THIS is the genius travel hack to create your own TV screen on an airplane – and all you need is some junk.

It’s the perfect trick if you want to enjoy Netflix but don’t want to spend the whole flight holding your phone.

All you need is a piece of junk – like an empty pack of Chippies – and your phone, of course.

What you do is take off your phone case and put the bottom of the chippie pack inside.

Then place your phone back in the case – essentially trapping the package between the two items.

Now lower the tray table attached to the seat in front of you.

Place about half of the chippie packet on the end of the tray and gently hold it while you fold the tray back up.

Secure the tray with the sliding bolt and everything is in place.

Now you have your own TV screen, so you can watch whatever you want on your device in landscape mode.

The travel tip that makes for perfect hands-free viewing was shared on Instagram.

A similar hack for creating a TV screen was revealed recently – except using a sick bag.

The internet is a great place to find travel tips and tricks.

Fashion experts recently unveiled an amazing trick that will help you keep your clothes wrinkle-free when you travel.

And the one item you need is something you most likely have around the house – especially during this festive time of the year when gifts are being given.

A travel expert also revealed a simple packing trick – all you need is a cheap straw.

Meanwhile, a flight attendant has sworn an item worth £1.50 for her trip – and most people will have it in their home.

And another flight attendant revealed the two unusual things she always packs — and you can get them at hardware stores.
