The Darts World Championships will start in Alexandra Palace in a month. Fallon Sherrock will also be there. And the Englishwoman is in top form and throws record values.

Fallon Sherrock set a record on the darts tour at the Grand Slam. The 27-year-old threw an average of 101.55 points per three darts in Wolverhampton on Sunday evening, creating the highest average that a woman has ever achieved in a match broadcast on TV.

“I’m absolutely thrilled. Breaking the record is crazy. I’m proud of myself tonight,” said the “Queen of the Palace”, as Sherrock is called after her World Cup victories in December 2019. She won her game against the Dutchman Mike De Decker 5-0.

The German Gabriel Clemens has also set a course for advancement. The Saarlander beat ex-world champion Peter Wright 5: 4 late on Sunday evening and won his first two group games. On Tuesday evening (from 8 p.m. on DAZN and Sport1) there will be a direct duel between Sherrock and Clemens in Wolverhampton.
