Wales – Belarus LIVE: News, line-ups and more on the World Cup qualifying team

Wales will host Belarus on Saturday night to take another step towards qualifying for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

Robert Page’s team can finish second if they score four points from the remaining two qualifiers, starting with this one before taking on Belgium next week.

But any pressure to beat one of the best nations in Europe is taken away by the knowledge that thanks to their efforts to win the group in the Nations League, they can still get a play-off spot.

Much of the pre-game focus was on whether Gareth Bale would be fit to play and make his 100th international in a Wales shirt – highlighting his continued importance to the national team with his hat-trick against the same opponent in the previous encounter was in qualifying.
