The Los Angeles Lakers currently sit 14th in the NBA’s Western Conference, just 2.5 games ahead of the Houston Rockets.

Even though Russell Westbrook is proving to be a great sixth man and Anthony Davis is playing at the superstar level, the Lakers are still struggling to win games due to their poor lineup. Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz therefore believes the Lakers should look to trade to add another ball-handling wing and extra center, with the Charlotte Hornets being the ideal trading partner.

Swartz’s trade proposal looks like this:

Lakers receive: Gordon Hayward and Mason Plumlee

Get Hornets: Russell Westbrook, Max Christie and a 2023 second-round draft pick
