A plethora of Premier League clubs have come forward to hire a private jet to bring their South American stars back in time to play this weekend.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool, Manchester City and their neighbors United are “to be understood as a merger for an aircraft that costs” six figures “”.

Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Uruguay starts at 1:30 a.m. UK time on Friday.

Nine players from England’s top league are involved, who take off immediately after the clash in Manaus.

United striker Edinson Cavani and midfielder Fred, Man City goalkeeper Ederson and striker Gabriel Jesus, and Liverpool’s Alisson and Fabinho will all be on board.

And the report claims that Leeds United’s Raphinha will fly back as well.

Chelsea star Thiago Silva and Aston Villas Douglas Luiz will also travel home.

The possibility of arranging two flights is now being discussed, with the group potentially splitting in two depending on where their club is playing in the country that weekend.

Tottenham’s South American quartet, made up of the Argentines Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero, the Colombian Davinson Sanchez and the Brazilian Emerson Royal, will also be flown in a private jet before the trip to Newcastle on Sunday.

On all flights, passengers are socially distanced and wear masks.

Now all of the above clubs have to decide if their men are fit enough to compete this weekend, with some having less than 48 hours to relax and travel.

Liverpool’s players only have a 35-hour gap between the start of the Brazilian qualifier and Saturday lunchtime at Watford.

South American stars from City, United, Leeds and Aston Villa all have an additional two and a half hours.

And Chelsea’s time frame is 40 hours before they greet Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.
