Club boss Carsten Schmidt will soon be leaving Hertha BSC. At least that’s what the Berlin daily newspaper “Tagesspiegel” reports.
As the newspaper reports, the move should be made for personal reasons. The managing director of the Berlin Bundesliga club wants to go back to Munich. There he worked for the pay TV broadcaster Sky before taking office at the capital city club in December 2020.
Now the club has to reposition itself due to his departure and also has one more construction site to take care of in addition to the sporting misery.
Hertha BSC is currently in 14th place in the Bundesliga and has lost the last two games. There are also rumors that coach Pál Dardai must fear for his job.
