Tre’Davious White is steadily approaching his return with the Buffalo Bills, although the exact date remains uncertain.
As the Bills began training camp Sunday, head coach Sean McDermott provided an update on the All-Pro cornerback’s recovery. White went down with a cruciate ligament injury in a Thanksgiving Night win against the New Orleans Saints, missed the rest of the season and continued rehab through the offseason.
McDermott gave a positive update on White’s progress, but didn’t reveal how much time was left or if White could be back for the team’s Sept. 8 season opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
