Jaroslav Drobný made over 200 Bundesliga games for teams like Bochum, Hertha and Hamburg. During the last years of his career he played in his native Czech Republic. Now he is probably going back to Germany.
FC Bayern has allegedly secured the services of Jaroslav Drobný. As the “Bild” reports, the Czech will be the goalkeeping coach of the record champions ‘U23s with immediate effect and will be joining Martín Demichelis’ coaching staff.
Drobný only ended his professional career at home with first division club Dynamo Budějovice in the summer. Before that he was under contract with various Bundesliga clubs, became a crowd favorite at Hertha BSC and Hamburger SV and made a total of 202 Bundesliga games and two relegation games.
Drobný is now the coach of Bayern’s second team, where he replaces Walter Junghans, who is out longer due to an injury.
