The Strong Island Animal Rescue League said the cow, nicknamed Vienna, escaped from Jerry’s Farms on Wading River Road in Manorville on August 27 and has been at large since, despite numerous sightings.

19 Sep (News) — An animal rescue organization in New York said employees are trying to find a 750-pound cow that escaped from a farm and has been at large for more than three weeks.

The group shared a video on Facebook late last week showing the recent Viennese sighting at Pine Hill Golf and Country Club in Manorville.

“We hope we can track down where she is. We’re asking everyone to please stand back and let the professionals do what they have to do,” Strong Island Animal Rescue League’s Frankie Floridia told News12.

Rescue workers said a new home for the cow is being prepared at Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in New Jersey.
