Va. Headmaster ousted as teacher’s attorney says child warnings, gun ignored

Newport News Public Schools voted to fire its superintendent after a 6-year-old shot and killed a teacher in a first-grade classroom earlier this month. The teacher’s attorney said administrators ignored warnings about the boy.
