Two arrested and one man in hospital after emergency services called for an attack

Two men have been arrested after an attack in Larbert.

Emergency services were called to an address on Paton Drive in Larbert in the Falkirk area on Saturday night.

After reports of an attack at the property came in, the air ambulance was also launched due to the serious condition of the injured person.

The 36-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by helicopter and two men, aged 21 and 22, were arrested in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed: “At around 6.45pm on Saturday 25 June officers were called to report an attack taking place at an address in Paton Drive, Larbert.

“Emergency services were present, including the air ambulance, and a 36-year-old man was flown to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where medical staff said his condition was serious but stable.

“Two men, aged 21 and 22, have been arrested in connection with the incident and the investigation is ongoing.”
