An influencer’s life is often coveted by their followers, but it’s not always what it seems. Over the years, a host of popular social media stars have had their lives tragically cut short
The life of an influencer is often seen as a worthwhile life, but sadly, a multitude of social media stars have had their lives cut short in recent years.

Unfortunately, she’s not the only influencer to have died in heartbreaking tragedies.
From a woman some believe predicted her own death to a flight attendant found dead in a hotel bathtub, the Latest Page News investigates the horrific deaths of five other influencers.
In July last year, Brazilian beauty influencer Julia Hennessy Cayuela died at the age of 22 after sharing a powerful recent post.
Julia was on a motorcycle trip with her husband Daniel Cayuela when they were involved in an accident in São José dos Pinhais, outside of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on July 15.
But just a week before the crash, the social media star took to Instagram to share her latest message with her 333,000 followers.
She wrote: “Life is short, let’s be crazy – me, you, god and the road. Your dreams are mine.”
According to Brazilian outlet O Tempo, she was flown to a hospital in the nearby city of Parana in critical condition, but died shortly afterwards of sudden cardiac arrest.
According to the Federal Highway Police of Parana and Ecovia, a truck was crossing the BR-277 road in So José dos Pinhais when the cyclist couple used a T-Bone to cross it.
Julia was buried on July 17 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
Flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera, 23, was found unconscious in a bathtub and taken to hospital before being pronounced dead shortly after.
Police eventually charged 11 men with rape and murder after the influencer, who had hundreds of thousands of followers, was spotted in a hotel room in the Philippines.
Christine had been there with her friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve, it being said that of the 11 accused only three were her friends.
Makati City Police Chief Colonel Harold Depositary announced that eleven men had been charged as they had been with Christine at the time of her death.
They had also been charged with rape, as “cuts and semen in her genitals” were found in Christine’s body and she was also covered in bruises and scratches.
Her Instagram shows that she last posted a week before her death. In the photo, she is seen leaning against the doors of an airplane wearing PPE.
She captioned it “Last Flight For This Damn Year” for her 12,800 followers.
Instagram star Sofia Cheung fell from Tsing Dai Waterfall in Ha Pak Lai Nature Park in front of her helpless friends in July 2021.
The 32-year-old was said to be trying to take a selfie to share with her 6,314 Instagram followers.
She had spent the day with three friends at Ha Pak Lai Natural Park before falling 16 feet to her death in the Tsing Dai Stream near Yuen Long, Hong Kong.
Sofia, who was interested in hiking and exploring, was climbing to the top of the waterfall to take the photos later that day when she lost her footing and fell into the water.
Her friends immediately called emergency services, but she was pronounced dead on arrival at a Hong Kong hospital.
