The Chipper Truck Cafe in Yonkers, an inner suburb of New York City just north of the Bronx, received a food order around 5 a.m. Sunday morning with a special note that read, “Please call the police.”

A note sent to a coffee shop led to the rescue of a woman who was allegedly being held against her will and raped at a home in New York, according to police.

The Chipper Truck Cafe in Yonkers, an inner suburb of New York City just north of the Bronx, received a food order around 5 a.m. Sunday morning with a special note that read, “Please call the police.”

“He’ll call me when you’ve delivered the skittles, please don’t make it obvious [sic]’ the note continued, according to News 12 Westchester.

Despite the unclear message sent via Grubhub, staff took action and called the police, leading to the arrest of a man for rape just days after he faced similar charges against another woman.

The alleged rapist was 32-year-old Kemoy Royal and his alleged victim was a 24-year-old woman who police say is now safe.

“People usually make notes like, ‘Can you leave it in my driveway? Can I have extra syrup in my order? Can I have an extra soda?’ But never like that,” cafe worker Alicia Berme told CBS New York.

“The message came in and the girls read it and called my husband to ask what to do,” owner Alice Bermejo told the TV station.

“He told them, ‘Let’s call the police, we can’t take any chances or risks.'”

The next day, the heroic staff determined the victim was safe.

“A detective had called and said an arrest had been made and that the girl was safe and we thought we were so happy…so happy,” Bermejo said, News 12 reported.

Royal was arrested Sunday morning and charged by New York City Police Department with rape, strangulation, criminal sex acts, unlawful detention, sexual abuse, criminal possession of weapons, assault and threats, authorities said.

Royal was also charged on Sunday in an earlier incident on June 15 of attempted rape, sexual abuse and assault of a 26-year-old woman, police said.
