Russian troops destroy bridges to Severodonetsk in Ukraine as the battle for Donbas enters its third month

The Russian military moved on Tuesday to consolidate positions in a key eastern Ukraine city in what turned out to be a protracted struggle for one of the last major areas of the Donbas not under Moscow’s control.
