Police are appealing over the Dundee robbery that injured a woman

Police are calling for clues after a 36-year-old woman was robbed in Murraygate, Dundee, around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23.

The slightly injured woman was standing in the street when a man and woman ambushed her and stole her money.

The male suspect is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, slender, with long reddish hair tied in a ponytail and short stubble. He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit with a distinct white stripe around the cuffs and the lower part of the sweater. He also wore a dark Tammy hat.

The female suspect is described as in her mid-30s, about 1.70 m tall and slim. She has long straight dark hair that is pulled back in a ponytail and has a tooth. She wore a long black down jacket with a fur hood.

Operation Argonite’s Constable Fraser Walker said: “The victim was understandably shocked by the incident. We ask everyone who witnessed the incident or was in the vicinity at the time to contact us. “
