VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Authorities closed the northbound 405 freeway in Van Nuys during rush hour to investigate a possible Monday afternoon shooting.
The freeway was closed at Sherman Way around 4:30 p.m. for a California Highway Patrol investigation following a report of a shooting, authorities say.
At the moment no victims have been found and no suspect has been found.
There was a major traffic jam for miles as CHP officers searched the freeway for evidence of a shooting.
It is not known when the lanes will reopen.
