Man with severe facial injuries after attack on Dundee city center

A man was rushed to hospital after being assaulted in Dundee city center and suffering a serious facial injury.

The incident occurred on Monday, October 4th at around 2:30 a.m. on Guthrie Street, between the intersection of Session Street and Brown Street.

A 26-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment for his injuries following the attack.

The suspect was described by police as a white man with blond hair. He was about five feet tall and wore a purple polo shirt with a black body warmer.

Dundee CID Detective Constable Paul Hardie said, “The area would have been quite busy at the time from a nearby club and we appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or has relevant information to contact us.”
