The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that dispatchers saw the alligator roaming under cars at the Largo sheriff’s office building.

July 25 (News) — A Florida sheriff’s office said 911 dispatchers returning to their cars after finishing a shift made a surprising discovery — an alligator in the parking garage.

The Post said the surprised dispatchers were “sung” by the “scaly girl.”

“Okay, it was more of a croak than a serenade,” the sheriff’s office wrote.

The dispatchers contacted a deputy, who relocated the small alligator with the help of a volunteer sheriff’s patrol member.
