The police had been called by residents on Sunday evening for disturbing the peace, because the man is said to have rioted in his apartment. When the officers tried to contact him, he first threatened them and finally fired a shot with the crossbow. The arrow got stuck in the closed door. The man may have had psychological problems, it said. He had been taken to a specialist hospital.
