A father who threw his two young daughters off a boat into the sea in revenge on his ex-wife previously suffocated them, an autopsy report confirms.

Tomas Gimeno Casanas, 37, murdered his two daughters in the Atlantic off the coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands to get back at his ex-wife, whose name is Beatriz Zimmermann.

The evil father threw the bodies of Olivia Gimeno Zimmermann, 6, and Anna Gimeno Zimmermann, 14 months old, into the sea because he never wanted them to be found.

He is said to have killed himself in the boat at the same spot where he dumped the bodies, after returning to shore to get cigarettes and charge his phone.

The eldest daughter and father’s body were eventually both found, but Anna’s body remains missing.

An autopsy report has now confirmed that the two children were strangled before being thrown overboard.

Oliva, the eldest of the sisters, suffered a death consistent with “mechanical asphyxiation by strangulation.”

Her body, wrapped in a gym bag and tied to an anchor, was recovered from a depth of around 1,000 meters (3,281 feet).

In the UK, a schoolgirl was killed by her father in a murder-suicide assassination that saw him set her house on fire and lock them both up after a text in which the child told her grandmother “Daddy scares me,” a coroner said came to the conclusion.

The inquest into the deaths of Hull school student Paige Bolton and her father ended Monday afternoon when assistant coroner Ian Sprakes said he believes Garry Bolton set the fire intentionally, with no logical explanation for the fire being set accidentally.

Mr Bolton had died in the fire in the early hours of January 25, 2020 at the home where he lived with 10-year-old daughter Paige, Hull Live reported.

Firefighters had to break into the property with a saw and then discovered the two victims lying together in the bathtub.
