SANTA MONICA, California. (KABC) — One person was shot when two SUVs collided in Santa Monica on Tuesday. said the police.
The two vehicles collided at approximately 3:42 p.m. on Broadway and 6th. Police say a driver got out of a vehicle and shot the other.
Investigators believe the two drivers knew each other before the collision.
The suspected shooter was arrested and a gun was seized.
The other driver was shot in the shoulder and taken to a local hospital. The wound was not classified as life-threatening.
The police are investigating the motive for the shooting.
