Deputy Bob Murray has been elected as the new member of the Guernsey P&R Committee

After two years in office, she resigned as vice president of the committee.

In a state debate Wednesday morning, Deputy Murray received 20 votes, while 17 members of the states supported challenger Deputy Gavin St Pier. There was a corrupt paper.

With Deputy Murray moving up to the Policy and Resources Committee, both the Education, Sport and Culture Committee and the Guernsey Development and Planning Authority have vacancies.

The elections for these offices are expected to take place on Wednesday 14 December.
