Miami couple Marie Dorsainvi and Occius Dorsainvil allegedly kidnapped and tortured a man at gunpoint in their apartment for three days before he was able to escape
A crazed Miami couple allegedly kidnapped a man and held him hostage at gunpoint and tortured him for three days before he was able to escape.
Marie Dorsainvil, 52, reportedly contacted an unidentified victim and asked for her to be driven to her home and then escorted.
Police said the victim, who has known Dosainvil since February 2020, was reluctant because they were both married to other people but trusted her because they were convinced Dorsainvil had told the victim her husband was in Haiti, CBS reported Miami.
Inside the apartment, the victim was sitting on the couch and had his arms and legs tied by Marie’s husband Occius Dorsainvil as he entered the apartment with a gun.
The victim was then chained and held at gunpoint against his will, according to Miami police.
The duo reportedly demanded $50,000 in cash and repeatedly threatened to shoot him while torturing him.
Police said the suspects forced the man to record and rehearse a statement admitting to having an affair with the 52-year-old.
They also said if he went to the toilet he would be forced to eat it and if he refused they would shoot him.
The victim reportedly told the couple that he didn’t have the money but would sign their registration card if he was released.
He was then forced to shower at gunpoint and drink a bottle of alcohol so that if he was stopped by police he would say he was going home because he had drunk too much and would not believe anything he did had to say, police said.
In the car, Occius made the victim drink a bottle filled with bleach and rum while they drove to his parked car.
He was told: “Don’t spit it up or spit it out or I’ll shoot you. Shake everything,” police said.
The victim reportedly pretended to be drunk and lay motionless in the passenger seat, and when she opened her eyes twenty minutes later, the suspects were gone, the report said.

At this point, the victim began asking pedestrians for help.
A passer-by said: “Someone got out of the vehicle and ran towards me and he looked like he had been shot or stabbed, but it was actually just blood from the vomiting that occurred.”
A week later, the suspects were arrested and charged with kidnapping, armed robbery and attempted murder.
On Tuesday, police released a flyer on Tuesday asking to help “identify” a man who is to be questioned in connection with the crime.
