Cooler temperatures, chance of showers, thunderstorms expected in SoCal Tuesday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will feel like fall with cooler temperatures and the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in parts of the region.

A low pressure system is lasting longer than expected, making for falling conditions.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see a high of about 76 degrees on Tuesday, with a 10% chance of showers.

The Valleys and Inland Empire will see a high of 85 on Tuesday and the next few days with a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms.

Beaches will see a high of 71 with a 10% chance of showers.

Mountain communities are likely to experience thunderstorms and a high of 65 degrees.

Deserts can also experience thunderstorms with a magnitude of 89.
