Cannabis farm discovered by Scottish police in Kirkcaldy

Two men were arrested after police searched a cannabis plant with an estimated street value of £ 450,000.

Scottish Police officers issued a search warrant at 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13th at an address in Townhead, Kirkcaldy.

Two men, aged 27 and 30, were arrested and charged with drug-related offenses. They become due in the Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 14th, 2021.

Operation Pinnacle (Fife Division) police officer Craig Lyle said: “As a result of this recovery, a significant amount of drugs have been intercepted and removed from the community.

“Public support is absolutely essential to help us identify and disrupt those involved in the drug supply, and I want to continue to urge people to share any information they have with officials to pass on.

“Anyone with information about drug activity in their area can contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
