AEW ‘Dynamite’: Executioner Adam Page has war of words with Bryan Danielson

Page became champion on Saturday Full gear Pay-per-view event after beating his former partner who became rival Kenny Omega. Danielson became the # 1 contender after joining Miro at. had defeated Full gear.

Nov. 18 (News) – The newly crowned AEW world champion Hangman Adam Page celebrated his title win with his friends in The Dark Order before he got into a battle of words with Bryan Danielson dynamite.

Page was welcomed as a hero in his home state of Virginia and wore a “Virginia is for lovers” t-shirt.

“I’m not going to lie. I’m really looking forward to this match for the AEW World Championship, but to be fair, I’m a little surprised and disappointed that Kenny Omega is not facing me right now,” Danielson said after reading the Had entered the ring.

Page mentioned how he actually beat Omega in under 30 minutes, a reference to how Danielson won a draw when he faced Omega earlier this year.

Danielson wasn’t his usual lucky self, and mentioned that he wrestles more than Page. The grappler said he even wrestled the next night after becoming world champion WrestleMania 30, which got the crowd booing.

The Dark Order had to separate Danielson and Page when they fought. No date has been set for their championship showdown.

Danielson was then in action against Evil Uno from The Dark Order. Danielson wrestled the match fiercely, still kicking Uno in the head several times after landing his finisher The Running Knee.

The American Dragon then won the match after using a triangle sleeper submission hold that passed out in the Uno.

Danielson gave another interview after the match and said he would continue to beat every member of The Dark Order. He’ll meet Colt Cabana next week dynamite.

On too dynamite, MJF was delighted with their big win over Darby Allin at Full gear, and mentioned that now everyone has to respect him as a wrestler.

MJF got to the ring with Pinnacle teammates Shawn Spears and Wardlow before being cut off by none other than CM Punk.

Punk stepped into the ring but said nothing to MJF, who offered a handshake. Punk didn’t take the handshake, laughed, and then left the ring.

TNT Champion Sammy Guevara defended his title against professional wrestling veteran Jay Lethal, who made his AEW debut in the main event.

Lethal performed bravely against Guevara as the two had a highly competitive game.

Guevara won the match after landing two knee blows, followed by the GTS which earned him the three. Guevara then celebrated in the ring with his Inner Circle teammates Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz. Guevara and Lethal shook hands as dynamite went out of the air.

Other moments from Dynamite included Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro Ishii of New Japan Pro Wrestling defeating The Butcher and The Blade; Nyla Rose defeats Hikaru Shida to advance in TBS women’s title tournament; Dante Martin and Lio Rush defeated The Acclaimed before Team Taz discussed Martin’s recruitment.
