A New study has found a treatment for AIDS that could be developed into a vaccine or a one-time treatment for HIV patients.
The Tel Aviv University study used genetically engineered B-type white blood cells to help produce anti-HIV antibodies in response to the virus.
It was made by Dr. Adi Barzel and PhD student Alessio Nehmad from the university’s Department of Neurobiology, Biochemistry and Biophysics and supported by researchers from Israel and the USA.
