Those who are eligible for a vaccine include those over 50, frontline health workers and anyone who is clinically at risk.

A full list is on the Government website.

All beneficiaries who have not yet received an invitation will receive a letter by the end of the month.

That gives them about four weeks to make an appointment before the program ends.

If Covid or some other illness prevents anyone from getting the vaccination before that date, makeshift clinics will cater for them in the new year.

Over 15,000 vaccines have been made available so far under the Covid Autumn Refresher Scheme.

The latest figures show there are 124 active cases of the disease on the island.

However, due to the declining number of cases in Guernsey, people have to be accommodated in hospitals no longer have to wear masks at the hospital or vaccination center.
