The company was founded three years ago with the aim of tackling plastic pollution – it’s an issue that affects everyone and our next generation, so we want to be part of the solution.

This week’s 30-second interview is with Pepi Reeves, one of the co-founders of eco-friendly toothbrush brand Reswirl.

We felt we could use our experience in design, retail and product development to create an “uncompromising” solution to combat plastic pollution.

Our closed recycling system that doesn’t shut down the product. All returned brushes will be processed into new brushes.

The brush and the materials used are also environmentally friendly – as they are made from bio-based, biodegradable materials.

Since this is a toothbrush that we believe that ultimately everyone can be a customer and benefit from it – first, however, we want to focus on environmentally conscious consumers and offer a product where they do not have to compromise on quality, one To make a difference.

Yes, we were successful in winning an innovative UK grant that enabled us to develop the materials used with the Bangor Bio-Composite Center and the University of South Wales.

Our production schedules were slightly affected – but since we manufacture and distribute in the UK through a subscription service, Covid has not materially affected us.

Firstly, we intend to expand the range of toothbrushes to include children’s toothbrushes and electric toothbrushes, and later we intend to apply the material technology and closed-loop system to other bathroom, health and beauty products.
