According to NBC, the broader logline reads: “Chicago PD is a gripping police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite intelligence unit as they fight the city’s most heinous crimes — organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile homicides and more.” At the center of Chicago PD is Sgt. Hank Voight, who stands at the zero line against the war on crime in Chicago. He will do almost anything to bring criminals to justice. Over the past year, Voight has fought to turn the tide. carefully navigating the situation in the department with a new boss who has helped him and the unit adjust to a new reality.”

Season 10 of Chicago PD premieres in the US on Wednesday, September 21 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Confirmed cast members for the new season include Jason Beghe as Sergeant Henry “Hank” Voight, Lisseth Chavez as Officer Vanessa Rojas, Patrick, John Flueger as Officer Adam Ruzek, LaRoyce Hawkins as Officer Kevin Atwater, Jesse Lee Soffer as Detective Jay Halstead, Amy Morton as Desk Sergeant Trudy Platt, Tracy Spiridakos as Detective Hailey Upton, and Marina Squerciati as Officer Kim Burgess.

The season also marked Soffers Halstead’s final appearance on the show.
