The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is slowly and steadily nearing the end of Season 1 and things in Middle-earth are getting quite intense as the stage is finally set for battle. The first four episodes did a phenomenal job of establishing the characters and making us a part of their journey. The end of the fourth episode made it clear that Numenor, along with Galadriel, is ready to sail to the Southlands to defeat the evil forces of Adar. Meanwhile, Episode 5 was all about our antagonist making his first move to up the ante even higher.
The people making their way to the high tower decided to bow to Adar because one of the old men having a discussion about Sauron with Theo in Episode 4 made everyone believe they wouldn’t be able would be angry to fight it because it is so powerful. Once they bow, Adar goes to the High Tower along with his army of orcs to claim what he has in mind.

There have been no changes to the episode release schedule or plan for The Rings of Power, and subsequent episodes will follow the same pattern as previous episodes. This means that The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 1 Episode 6 premieres exclusively on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12:01 am EST.
There are only three episodes left in the first season of the Amazon fantasy series, and there is still so much to unravel. With everything that happens in the series, the last three episodes seem to focus mostly on the battle that will take place in the Southlands against Adar and his army. It will be interesting to see whether or not Sauron makes an entry in these episodes because we sure believe Adar is NOT Sauron.
Will we also see an important character lose his life in the war? Anything can happen in Middle-earth and we’re all excited to see what happens next.
