ASTON VILLA full-back Matty Cash starred in a Polish Christmas spot.

The 25-year-old is currently representing the country at the World Cup after making his international debut earlier this year.

His mother and late grandfather were both born in Poland, which entitles him to play for the nation.

He seized the opportunity before the World Cup in Qatar and quickly secured a place on the starting line-up.

But he’s also making a name for himself off the field in Poland.

And now he’s done a Christmas advert for the insurance company Mubi, showing a little of his Polish language skills.

It begins with a football boot falling down the chimney of a family celebrating Christmas.

And moments later, Cash falls down the chimney in his national team jersey.

A little boy then shouts excitedly, “Matty Cash! Matty Cash!”

To which the Villa defender replies: “Money is coming in for Christmas!”

It then cuts to an advertisement for Mubi before she returns to the family while Cash rocks the grandmother in her chair.

She then says, “It’s nice to have Cash stop by for Christmas.”

The former Nottingham Forest man ends the commercial by hugging the boy before grabbing some food.

Cash was a starting XI in both of Poland’s World Cup games – Czesław Michniewicz’s side drew Mexico 0-0 and beat Saudi Arabia 2-0.

They will book their place in the last 16 for the first time since 1986 if they avoid defeat by Argentina on Wednesday.
