There are hidden Gucci items in Asda stores for just £ 12

In an announcement that nobody George of Asda announced that they would be running a Gucci treasure hunt, coinciding with the highly anticipated release of Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci this Friday (November 26th).

Would you like to wrap up a Gucci garment for just £ 12? Well, you’re lucky now.

A wide range of used Gucci pieces will be hidden in UK stores for happy customers across the country to shop.

In collaboration with George’s sustainability partner Preloved, the pieces will hit 50 George in Asda shops including London, Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Brighton.

The UK supermarket chain will be sharing social media teasers throughout the day to encourage shoppers to take part in the designer supermarket sweep. The 30 exclusive vintage pieces of jewelery include shirts, jackets and dresses from the popular Italian brand.

“Whether you’re a vintage lover or just want to make more sustainable choices, our handpicked PreLoved pieces are always a treasure trove for gemstones, and now Gucci is helping our customers shop with us,” said Lauren Mallins of George Asda said.

Steve Lynam, Managing Director of Preloved Wholesaler added, “Our partnership with George at Asda is one that we are very proud of in their local supermarket.”

House of Gucci, starring Adam Driver and Lady Gaga, will hit theaters on Friday, November 26th.

The film is based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed by Sara Gay Forden. It follows the story of love, betrayal and murder within the Italian fashion family.
