Tickets may be long gone, but you don’t have to travel all the way to Glastonbury to catch some of the hottest bands of the year.
Glastonbury is back this weekend – with arguably the world’s most famous music festival celebrating its 50th anniversary after two years of forced fallow due to the global pandemic.
This year’s event will draw an impressive 210,000 music fans to Worthy Farm, but that still leaves more than two million people who have tried but failed to get a ticket.
Luckily for those who missed it, many of Glastonbury’s highlights are televised and if you catch an act you particularly like, chances are they’ll be playing in Scotland in the coming months.
Unfortunately you’re too late for the likes of Billy Eillish, The Pet Shop Boys, The Avalanches, Lorde and Phoebe Bridgers who have already played against Scotland this year – but there are plenty more to snag tickets for.
Here’s who you can see, where they’ll be playing and when.
SamFender (Main Stage, Friday) play TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow on Friday 8th July.
Rufus Wainwright (Main Stage, Friday) will play at Kelvingrove Bandstand on Saturday 30th July.
Wolf Alice (Main Stage, Friday), playing the TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow on Sunday 10th July.
