The writer of Marvel’s new TV show had one Avengers: Endgame Idea rejected by Kevin Feige.

Mrs MiracleThe first episode of released on Disney Plus earlier this month introduced Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a character obsessed with superheroes, specifically Captain Marvel.

In the episode, Kamala shares details of the climax fight sequence against Thanos in the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame on her YouTube channel. She tells her followers that the information she learned about the battle came from Scott Lang aka Ant-Man’s podcasts.

Originally, however, the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) would have known about the Endgame battle if it were up to Executive Producer/Head Writer Bisha K Ali, as it was live streamed for the entire world.

“At some point, like in the early days before we expanded the creative team, I thought, ‘Kevin, what if there were drones and a live stream of the battle from endgame?” She recited during a performance The wrap‘s podcast.

Feige wasn’t too keen on the idea, Ali said, “And he said, ‘Bisha, no.’ I say, ‘It wasn’t a twitch streamer for the final battle from there endgame? Are we kidding?’”

Mrs MiracleThe season premiere featured an Easter egg that revealed a fun detail about Guardians of the Galaxy character Groot.

Vellani has been praised for her role as Kamala Khan — as well as for taking on studio president Kevin Feige about a “fake” Marvel detail that has made it into recent memory Doctor Strange 2.
