THIS is the glamorous 100-storey “Hypertower” that will enchant the Dubai skyline and deserve the crown of the world’s tallest residential building.
The Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences will be a modern architectural masterpiece that not only breaks records but also offers magnificent opulence and draws inspiration from one of the most renowned watch manufacturers in the world.
Jacob Arabo, Chairman and Creative Director of Jacob & Co, said: “It will be an unprecedented achievement in the world of real estate and luxury.”
The final height of the Business Bay skyscraper has not yet been announced, but the glittering crown at the top of the structure can be clearly seen above Dubai’s tallest residential building, the Princess Tower, at 1289 feet.
It will also dethrone the current world record holder, the Central Park Tower on 57th Street in Manhattan, New York, which has 98 stories and reaches approximately 1550 feet.
However, at the back of the metropolis, it is still dwarfed by the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa (2716 ft), which houses a mix of commercial businesses and is therefore not counted as a residential building.
Speaking on behalf of both companies, Muhammad Binghatti, Binghatti CEO and head of architecture, said it was a pursuit of elegance.
“Both of our brands were born out of a sheer desire to achieve what pushes boundaries,” said Mr. Binghatti.
“What Binghatti has done in real estate, creating a brand through a distinct design philosophy and architectural identity, is very similar to what Jacob & Co has done in the jewelry and watchmaking world.”
The entry-level apartments consist of two collections.
The Sapphire Suite Collection consists of two bedroom units and the Emerald Suite Collection consists of three bedroom units.
Five luxurious penthouses will be built on top of the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences.
The Hypertower will also feature an exclusive private club with a large infinity pool.
Mr Arabo said the completion of the project was impressive.
“It’s a commitment to push boundaries and push boundaries,” Mr Arabo said.
“Our driving force is ingenuity and originality… It leads us to design jewels, watches and now a hypertower like the world has never seen before.”
The parties have started expressing their interest and will undergo a pre-qualification process to assess eligibility to live in the ultra-exclusive apartment.
Although no date has been set for the project’s completion, high-rise living continues to dominate the Dubai real estate market, with Wasl Tower being the latest development, expected to be completed in 2024.
