Christine Brown and Kody Brown’s daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, confirms this sister wives Fans have suspected for years that the move to Flagstaff, Arizona, benefited Robyn Brown and her children. Gwendlyn confirms that the move from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff was for her eldest son, Dayton Brown, so he could go to the college he wanted.

In an interview with People, Kody told the outlet that the only reason he’s uprooting his family and moving to Flagstaff is for a new adventure. “As much as we loved creating our home and memories here in Las Vegas, we’re excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, Arizona!” Kody said in a statement.

“We’re looking forward to cooler temperatures, mountain air, scenic views and the slower pace of Flagstaff’s lifestyle,” the Brown family said.

It was difficult for many of the children to uproot their lives in Las Vegas and move to Flagstaff. Many of the children spoke about it and were angry that they had no choice in the matter.

For years, fans have speculated as to why the Brown family decided to move from their cozy cul-de-sac in Vegas to four separate homes in Flagstaff. The family gave a few reasons on the show, such as Robyn’s concern that her children would be influenced by Vegas culture, pumping up mortgages, and Kody’s constant need for change.

However, the most likely reason for moving to Flagstaff has always been that Robyn’s son, Dayton, was accepted into a Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Fans believed Kody would do anything to support Robyn and her children.

Thanks to Gwendlyn, there’s finally an answer as to why the family uprooted their lives. That sister wives Star recently opened a Patreon account where she answers fans’ burning questions about the show and her family. She recently revealed that the real motivation behind the Flagstaff move was Robyn and her kids.

One fan asked: “Did the family really move to Flagstaff to avoid balloon mortgage payments or so that Dayton could go to college? Those are the two most speculated reasons.”

Gwendlyn revealed: “The main reason I was told was that somehow the market is growing and it would be a good time to sell the houses and still make a profit out of it. But I feel that choosing Flagstaff is very college related. Yes.”

According to Dayton’s LinkedIn, he is still in school at Northern Arizona University and is pursuing a triple major in marketing, information systems management, and management. He also has additional certificates in Business Analytics and Business Leadership.

On Gwendlyn’s Patreon, one sister wives Fan asked about 22-year-old Dayton as he was out of sight sister wives Season 17. Gwendlyn confirmed, “Dayton still lives here with Robyn, don’t worry lol.”

Gwendlyn said all five of Robyn’s children still live at home in Robyn and Kody’s $900,000 house. She said: “He’s just a bit of a recluse [because] He has so many degrees he’s studying for, which may be why people haven’t seen or heard from him online.”

For some sister wives Fans, this information is not surprising. Kody has often shown his preference for Robyn and her children at the expense of his other wives and children.
