The shooting of the new season of “Battle of the Reality Stars” is imminent. Who will be there has not yet been officially confirmed. But one candidate is already out in advance: Iris Klein, mother of Daniela Katzenberger.
RTLzwei has not yet confirmed which celebrities will be part of the new edition of the show “Battle of the Reality Stars”. In any case, they have already traveled to Thailand for the shoot, one candidate apparently with a corona infection. As is now known, Iris Klein, emigrant and mother of TV star Daniela Katzenberger, tested positive for Covid-19 shortly before moving into the beach house where the show is filmed.
Klein herself confirms this – and thus also her actually planned participation in the format – of the “Bild”. The 54-year-old also explains: “I’m so sad that I can’t be there. I was really looking forward to taking part.”
So far, Klein is fine, she has no symptoms: “I’ve been vaccinated and boosted twice, that’s really frustrating right now,” she says. The end of the show still seems sealed. Because according to the tabloid they are now looking for a replacement candidate for Klein.
Shona Fraser, head of entertainment at the station, says “Bild”: “The failure of Iris Klein as a candidate poses challenges for our production. It won’t be easy, but we are confident.” After all, the replacement would also have to travel to the location in Thailand. Fraser emphasizes: “Above all, we wish Iris a speedy recovery and a mild course.”
