Eagles fans traveling to Edinburgh to see the legendary rock band perform at BT Murrayfield on Wednesday night have been urged to plan their trips in advance and be aware of their travel options.
ScotRail urges those going to the stadium to see the legendary band to travel to the stadium as early as possible, allow plenty of time for their journey and consider their travel options on the way home.
The chart-topping group – whose hits include Take It Easy, Hotel California and Desperado – are due to take the stage just after 8pm but the gates at Murrayfield will open from 5pm and ScotRail is encouraging fans to head to the venue to come early as the trains will be very crowded.
However, services across Scotland on Wednesday are being disrupted following Tuesday’s strike action by Network Rail members of RMT as signal boxes across the country open at different times of the day.
The train operator is also urging customers to review their journey and check their travel options on the journey home as there will only be a limited number of trains serving Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket after the end of the event due to the provisional timetable currently in force Leave 10:30pm.
These services are:
22:46 Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street (22:50 from Haymarket)
23:00 Edinburgh Waverley to Kirkcaldy (23:04 from Haymarket)
23:14 Edinburgh Waverley to North Berwick
23:18 Edinburgh Waverley to Dunfermline Town (23:22 from Haymarket)
23:30 Edinburgh Waverley to Stirling (23:34 from Haymarket)
23:46 Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street (23:50 from Haymarket)
