With Pink Floyd, Roger Waters could not only write hits like “Another Brick in the Wall”, “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”, “Money”, “Wish You Were Here” or “Comfortably Numb”, but also influence generations of musicians and Selling millions of albums. And in his private life, too, things are going well for the Briton: He has now married for the fifth time. And he shows himself comfortably emotional.
At the age of 78, Waters married his partner Kamilah. The British musician has now confirmed this on social media. The co-founder of Pink Floyd published a number of wedding photos on Instagram, among others, showing him together with the radiant bride. In one of the pictures, the two of them are standing on a jetty with a dog and look each other in love. They kiss deeply on two others. “Finally someone to keep,” he writes.
“I’m so happy,” commented Waters, explaining that this time he had found the right one. Waters was previously married four times, most recently from 2012 to 2015. It is not known when exactly the two have now said yes.
In an interview with the Argentine news website “Infobae” in 2018, Waters said that he and his Kamilah had been together for several years. At that time he was already talking about being happy in the relationship. He got to know her during one of his concerts.
