Miranda Lambert has been married to her husband Brendan McLoughlin since 2019. Before marrying Lambert, McLoughlin lived in New York City. The two now live together at Lambert’s farm. In a new Instagram video, Lambert showed what farm life is like with McLoughlin.

Lambert is a big animal lover. In 2009 she founded the MuttNation Foundation, which helps protect pets in the United States

The singer-songwriter also has several pets on her farm, including dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits and chickens. On Jan. 1, Lambert shared a video of McLoughlin and all of her various animals on Instagram.

“Happy New Year from my happy place,” Lambert captioned the video. “I love Brendan, myself and the farm. #FlyinPistolsFarm.”

The video begins with a clip of Lambert riding a horse. Fans then see various clips of dogs, goats, chickens and cats on the farm.

In one clip, Lambert shows McLoughlin lying on the floor petting a dog with one hand and a cat with the other. Another clip shows McLoughlin riding a horse alongside Lambert.

The video ends with Lambert showing several horses in a pasture at sunset.

After Lambert posted the video, fans were quick to show their appreciation for the famous couple and their pets.

One fan wrote on Instagram: “Miranda, I’m an animal lover too! They’re like potato chips, you can never have just one! Looks like you have a great farm and a handsome farm hand! Have a great day just hanging out there!”

“Miranda is the real deal. Country girl and cowgirl,” wrote one Instagram user.

“Happy New Year Miranda, Brandan and all your animals. I adore you for loving these furbabies and making them happy and healthy,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

Although not raised on a farm, McLoughlin quickly adapted to Lambert’s lifestyle after they married.

In an interview with People Magazine, Lambert revealed what it was like to watch McLoughlin adjust to farm life.

“I want to be frank about how lucky we are… I just don’t care what people think of me, my marriage, my music, or anything else. I only care that I am me. He plunged straight into that lifestyle — there’s a learning curve that takes a New Yorker straight to the woods — but it was great fun,” the singer told People magazine.

McLoughlin has also supported Lambert’s love of animal rescue and helping pets in need. Her husband has helped with initiatives for MuttNation, and he also helped her rescue her cat, Tequila Sunrises.

In 2020, Lambert shared that McLoughlin was the one who spotted Tequila Sunrise on the side of the road and insisted on stopping.

“Two lane freeway in Texas, speed limit 70. Brendan slows down and makes a U-turn… Me to B: ‘Why are you turning around?’ B to me: ‘There’s a kitten on the street and I knew if I saw it and didn’t stop you would kill me,'” Lambert wrote on Instagram. “Well, I think the escape routes are rubbing off on him.”
