LOVE Island champion Cara De La Hoyde has revealed that she and husband Nathan Massey struggle to find time for sex.

The couple met and fell in love on the ITV2 series in 2016 and have been together ever since, getting married and having two children.

But a busy work life and raising a family have their snags, and Cara reveals the couple struggles to make time for intimacy.

“We don’t really have sex, to be honest. We don’t do it enough. It’s been a while,” she told Closer magazine.

“Believe it or not, for a little guy, Nathan is well trained and very enthusiastic, but he just finds the time.”

The couple have shared their lives online since leaving the villa, from buying their own home to running multiple businesses to Cara’s personal experiences with mental health.

One of the show’s first couples to stand the test, the couple welcomed Freddie-George in 2017 and daughter Delilah in 2020.

And with everything she’s learned, Cara made sure to stand by her co-star Olivia Bowen when she and husband Alex welcomed their own baby, son Axel, earlier this year.

Cara shared her parenting journey online via Instagram, including the ups and downs of parenting.

Luckily, they managed to take some time off together and head to Paris for a family trip to Disneyland in November.

Back in February, she admitted the couple were considering another child.

“It was crazy, we’re definitely thinking about number three … but not yet,” she said.

“We’ll wait until they’re a little older, otherwise I think we’d go insane.”

Cara has also confessed she’s no longer trying to keep up with other reality stars – she unfollows everyone on social media who claims to have a ‘perfect’ life.

“Years ago I was trying to compete with all these young girls that came off Love Island and I had to be like, ‘Cara — that’s not who you are,'” she said.

“I was trying to portray an image that I couldn’t keep up with and that put pressure on me.

“I’ve unfollowed a lot of ‘perfect people’ showing their lives because it didn’t help me in any way.”
