Loot marks the second collaboration between Apple TV+ and Yang, following the BAFTA and NAACP Image Award-nominated anthology series Little America. It tells the story of billionaire Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) who lives a dream life and has everything her heart desires. However, when her 20-year-old husband cheats on her, she publicly falters. Here’s what we know about the show so far.
Apple TV+ is launching its brand new comedy series, Loot, starring Maya Rudolph. The 10-episode series was developed by Emmy Award-winning creator Alan Yang and 30 Rock star Matt Hubbard.

When and where can you watch Loot?
The 10-episode workplace comedy will air worldwide with the first three episodes on Friday, June 24 on Apple TV+, followed by a new episode every Friday.
The official synopsis reads: “Billionaire Molly Novak (Rudolph) has a dream life, complete with private jets, a sprawling mansion and a gigayacht – everything her heart desires for tabloids. She hits rock bottom when she is surprised to learn that she has a charity run by the no-nonsense Sofia Salinas (Rodriguez), who begs Molly to stop generating bad press. With her devoted assistant Nicholas (Kim Booster) by her side, and with the help of Sofia and her team – including the mild-mannered accountant Arthur (Faxon) and her upbeat, pop culture-loving cousin Howard (Funches) – Molly embarks on a journey of… self-discovery. Giving back to others might be what she needs to return to herself.”
Maya Rudolph is an actress, comedian and singer who was a part of “Saturday Night Live” from 2000 to 2007. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of then-Senator and current President Kamala Harris on ‘SNL’ in 2020. She has also appeared in films such as ‘Grown Ups’ (2010), ‘Bridesmaids’ (2011 ), ‘Grown Ups 2’ (2013), ‘Inherent Vice’ (2014), ‘Sisters’ (2015) and ‘Wine Country’ (2019).
Other cast members include Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Ron Funches, Nat Faxon and Joel Kim Booster.
The comedy series was created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang. Dave Becky, Danielle, Renfrew Behrens, Natasha Lyonne and Maya Rudolph serve as executive producers. Loot is produced for Apple TV by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
