Here’s a look at some more Twitter reactions:

This isn’t the first time Lizzo has been criticized for her sense of dress. In 2019, viewers were shocked when the “Truth Hurts” singer wore a thong dress that exposed her bum to the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game. Lizzo flaunted her looks by working while the Lakers Girls performed on their song “Juice”.

Lizzo is known for her daring outfits both on and off the stage, even at events like the Grammys and BRIT Awards. She also and often speaks about body positivity and as a plus-size icon.

Lizzo recently faced a backlash after posing backstage with Chris Brown while stopping his Millennium Tour in Oakland, California. At the event, which featured performances by Ashanti, Bow Wow, B2K and more, Lizzo took a moment before her photo op to tell Chris Brown that she is a huge fan.

In one Video that surfaced, Lizzo was seen talking to Brown and asking him, “Can I take a picture with you because you are my favorite person in the whole world.” Lizzo posed for a solo photo with Brown before her friends join in for a group photo. However, fans were upset by the fact that Lizzo posed with the “Look At Me Now” singer, especially after the controversy in which he was accused of assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. He was later also accused of threatening a woman with a gun in his home in 2016. He was also faced with rape allegations in 2019.

Melissa Viviane Jefferson is professional as Lizzo and is a renowned American singer, rapper, songwriter and flautist. The release of “Cuz I Love You” in 2019 marked a turning point in Lizzo’s career, prompting it to gain more mainstream attention. This album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 and reached number four three months after its initial release.
