Lois Rinna, the mother of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna, has died after a stroke, her granddaughter has confirmed.

Lisa Rinna’s mother Lois, a darling of RHOBH fans, has died, her granddaughter Amelia confirmed on Instagram.

“My guardian angel for the rest of the time,” Amelia wrote on Instagram. “I love you so much, my Lolo … you were and always will be much more to me than a grandma … you were my best friend. My strength. My rock. My everything. Your laughter has never failed to light up any room you have ever walked into. Everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting you has been so blessed .. there will never be anyone like you. Thank you for being the strength our family needed. Thank you for teaching us what it means to be a strong woman … and just like that … you’re back with Frank … I know they have a party for you … and you dance your way through heaven … you I will never be gone … “I did it my way …” “Me too.” 5:05 am. “

Lisa announced that her mother had had a stroke on November 10, 2021 and was near death. Almost daily Lisa updated fans with photos and videos of her mother over the years. She herself does not have to confirm the death at the time of going to press.

As is well known, Lois was worshiped by the housewives, sometimes coming to them for lunch and handing out pearls of wisdom.

In a season 9 episode, it was revealed that Lois was nearly killed by a serial killer in the Bay Area decades ago.

“He tried to rape her. He tried to kill her, “Lisa said on the show. “Fortunately, a military policeman had seen them drive down this deserted road and he knew there shouldn’t be anyone down there, and he followed them downstairs. My mother was rescued that day by this military policeman. “

The man, David Carpenter, later came to be known as the Trailside Killer. He was tried and convicted of the attack on Lois and served nearly eight years, USA Today reported.

“I was lucky. Very happy. I shouldn’t be here. You shouldn’t even be here,” Lois said in the episode. “I was the first he was jailed for. They gave him seven and a half years.”

After his release from prison, he killed six women and one man on roads in Marin and Santa Cruz counties for eight months in 1980-81, the outlet reported.

“That was a really bad thing,” said Lois. “I knew him. I thought that was it. … He’s sitting on top of me. He had a hammer in one hand and a knife in the other.”

Late on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021, Lisa took to Instagram to share a video of Lois dancing, along with news that her mother was near death.

“I know how much you value and LOVE Lois, so I have to tell you that she had a stroke. I am with her now. So let’s celebrate her and send her so much love as she passes, ”Rinna wrote on Instagram. “I was so hesitant to share this very, very sad news with you, but I know you want to know.”

On June 7, 2021, Lisa announced to her followers that she saw her mother for the first time in a year and a half when the mother-daughter celebrated Lois’ 93rd birthday.

Over the course of a few days, housewives and fans flocked to Lisa Rinna’s Instagram to share their congratulations for the Rinna family.

Eileen Davidson wrote: “I send Lois and you and your family so much love.” Sutton Stracke wrote: “We love her so much.”

Teddi Mellencamp wrote: “We love you Rinna and Lois! You are all in our prayers ”with a crying emoji.
