SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Jen Shah has come out with her own ‘true story’ just a week after she denied sitting for an interview with Andy Cohen. The ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ actress recently took to Instagram to ask her dedicated followers to subscribe to her site so they can experience her full story without distortion or editing.
Jen has publicly distanced herself from ‘RHOSLC’ and refused to interview Andy. The reality star, who pleaded guilty to taking part in a telemarketing campaign that misled victims, many of whom were elderly, was recently sentenced to 6.5 years in prison. “I will not do this 1-1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo because they are unwilling to remove contractual provisions that would allow the network to close before and during the legal misrepresentation of me and my story on any subject.” make history of my participation,” Jen wrote in an Instagram statement on March 19.

Jen stressed that she was under no obligation to appear in this interview with Andy as it was not contractual. “I have promised myself and my loving family that I will not allow this part of my life to be sensationalized or inaccurately portrayed,” she said. “Too many people have been hurt by my actions and my inability to control my own narrative. I would rather remain silent and wait until I’m able to tell my story accurately than continue making the headlines with outright lies and misrepresentations about myself.”
The Bravo actress suggested her side of the story would be revealed to the public “very soon”. “I intend to speak and you will hear from me. I will be sharing my story and this painful part of my life very soon,” she concluded.
Jen has since revealed her side of the story, less than a week after making that comment. On Jan. 25, the Bravo star wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to my loyal fans for supporting me through this tough but very enlightening time of my life. With the strength of my husband, children, close family and friends — I am ready to tell my true story without misrepresentation or editing.”
She then asked her followers to sign up so she could “speak my truth and give you a glimpse of the real Jen Shah” before directing them to the link. “More details to come…♥️,” she finished.
But as soon as Jen’s post went live on Instagram, people reacted negatively, with many questioning whether they should share their personal information with her. One person quipped, “Imagine giving her your email address.” Another person, calling it a “scam,” wrote: “Don’t go to their site and subscribe. I bet it’s a scam.” Another person, who feels she hasn’t found the truth yet, wrote: “I’ll bet you a whole paycheck she’ll just lie 🙄 Can she go to jail now? on her wrote: “We need to coordinate one person with the sub and then hand out the tea.”
Jen Shah is expected to turn himself in to authorities on February 17.
